ABOUT

The true identity of the street artist known as The Rebel Bear remains shrouded in secrecy, but their style is recognisable and unmistakable. Referred to as “The Scottish Banksy”, they have attracted media attention for their various installations, often wry and satirical in nature.

The artist said: “The piece is called The Rescue, and it represents how love can lift you up from the grey masses. Saying this, each piece is open to interpretation, but in general it just has a positive and uplifting feeling.”
